Structured Courses vs. Casual Classes
A structured course is by far the quickest, cheapest and best way to learn how to dance. We started with casual classes and then changed to structured courses and noticed an immediate improvement in our students. With casual classes you can group larger numbers of people together at varying levels of ability but you always have to cater to the lower end of the class making it very difficult to teach better technique to more advanced students. Image being in a beginners class on your first night and the other students have been their for 4 or 5 weeks or being an intermediate student for 6 months and having people come into the class from beginners to do the same moves as you. Bailemos has 6 levels not 2 or 3.
- Don’t waste time and money! We have had dancers come to us after a year of casual classes still unable to social dance. With structured courses we can get students to performance level in the same amount of time.
- The whole class has the same experience and have learnt the same moves.
- Our courses have been specifically structured so that as you progress, you build upon the knowledge you’ve learnt from the previous course.
- Structured courses are preferred and most commonly used amongst the leading salsa schools.
